Libyan doctors heads to Italy to help in the fight against Coronavirus

A team of Libyan doctors left Tripoli on Sunday, May 17, for Rome to help the Italian doctors in their fight against Covid-19, according to the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its Facebook page, which is all part of the ongoing cooperation between Italy and Libya in efforts to combat the pandemic.

The move comes in coordination between the Ministries of Health and Foreign Affairs and the National Center for Disease Control as a humanitarian response and medical assistance to Italy.
