Idris Al-Sharif: “The budget proposed by the Libyan government is a budget of satisfaction, and it exceeds 129 billion dinars, not 94 billion”

The economist and former undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance in the interim government, Idris Al-Sharif, said that the value of the proposed budget of the Libyan government exceeds the amount of 129 billion dinars and not, as it was said, 94 billion, pointing out that there is an additional budget for the National Oil Corporation of more than 34 billion.

Al-Sharif added, in statements to “Flusna” program, which was broadcast on Monday evening via Al-Wasat channel and Tabadul platform, that this budget submitted by the Libyan government is a “budget of satisfaction,” in which the House of Representatives, the State Council, the General Command, the Ministry of Defense, militias and others were satisfied. From the quarters, noting that the only citizen who was not satisfied in this budget is the citizen, and the rest were satisfied through this budget.

Idris Al-Sharif confirmed that he expected this budget to be approved by the House of Representatives without any obstacles, noting that the budget was distributed in a manner similar to the one in which government ministers were chosen by dividing ministerial portfolios on all parties.
