Greek Foreign Minister: “I canceled my visit to Tripoli, which was scheduled to meet with the President of the Presidential Council, to not meet with Al-Mangoush”

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias said that he canceled his visit, which was scheduled for Thursday morning to meet with the President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, because the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, Najla Al-Mangoush, did not implement the agreement not to meet with her, according to him.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, NagNajla Al-Mangoush, denounced the behavior of the Greek Foreign Minister, whose plane landed at Mitiga Airport in the capital, Tripoli, this morning, but refused to get off it to receive him in accordance with diplomatic norms, stressing that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will take appropriate diplomatic measures that preserve the prestige and sovereignty of the State of Libya.

It is noteworthy that the plane of the Greek Foreign Minister, after the incident of his refusal to get off the plane to receive him in Tripoli, headed to Benina Airport in Benghazi, where the Greek minister is expected to hold talks with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, and a number of officials there.
