Foreign Ministry allocates funds to meet the needs of stranded Libyans

In a press statement issued today, the Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mohamed Al-Qiblawi said that the the scientific consultative committee concluded several measures to deal with the situation of stranded Libyans in Egypt, Tunisia as well as in Turkey. These measures include obliging Libyan nationals in Turkey, Tunisia and Egypt to 14 days in quarantine, then they will have to do the needed lab tests before being repatriated home

Al-Qiblawi added that the process will start on Monday in these three countries first, adding that the Foreign Ministry had allocated funds for the embassies to provide the needed assistance to the stranded nationals in other countries.

It should be noted that the scientific consultative committee to combat Covid-19 formed by the Presidential Council has established a scientific protocol that guarantees the return of stranded travelers abroad and at the same time, maintains the public safety.
