Despite the issuance of a decision to reduce the price of jet fuel, Libyan Airlines stated to our source: “For these reasons, the price of travel tickets will not be reduced”

The Director of the Information Office of the Libyan Airlines Company Saber Al-Tir confirmed today, Monday, in an exclusive statement to our source, that the Libyan Airlines Company had held a meeting during the past period to demand a reduction in the price of jet fuel, which would have risen to what it is in the local market, while 8 airways companies signed on this claim and it was transferred to the Ministry of Transportation, and then it was transferred to the Prime Ministry by the Ministry of Transportation for approval.
Al-Tir added that the Libyan Airlines Company will not adjust the prices of its tickets, because the Libyan Airlines had previously initiated a demand to reduce the price of fuel so that the price of tickets would not rise, in the context of alleviating citizens and preventing them from increasing the fuel tax in the price of tickets.
