Dbeibeh, Shakshak, and government ministers are following up on the extraordinary budget for the oil sector

Today, Tuesday, during a meeting with the head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, the head of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, followed up the extraordinary budget for the oil sector, in the presence of the minister of finance, Khaled al-Mabrouk, the minister of planning in charge, Muhammad Zidani, the head of the National Oil Corporation, Farhat Ben Gdara, the committee in charge of following up the NOC’s extraordinary budget, and a number of department directors in the Ministries of Planning and of Finance and the Audit Bureau.

The meeting discussed the items of the basic budget that aims to settle the existing obligations of the Corporation, and the development plan prepared by the Corporation to raise production and increase gas production, in light of the current circumstances, in addition to settling the conditions of the Corporation’s employees in terms of employees whose employment conditions have been settled and their salaries paid.

It was agreed that continuous follow-up meetings should be held to solve the accumulated problems that require continuous cooperation between the main institutions in the country, benefit from international expertise in this sector, as well as determine the necessary allowances and settlements in order to pay attention to the workers in the sector.
