Al-Kilani is following up on the mechanism for distributing the “Ifaa” card for the wife and daughters grant in the southern region

The Minister of Social Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Wafa Al-Kilani, continued on Wednesday in a meeting with the Chief of the Southern District Court, Dhaw Khalifa, the mechanism for distributing the “Ifaa” card for the grant of the wife and daughters over the age of 18 years, and delivering it to the eligible mothers and daughters in the southern region.

The meeting was attended by the director of the administrative and financial affairs department in the ministry, and the financial and legal expert in the ministry.

Preparations for the 3rd International Conference and Exhibition for Banking, Insurance and Investment keep continued

Al-Kabeer discusses with the Turkish ambassador a number of issues of common interest

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Seddiq Al-Kabeer, discussed with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Kanaan Yilmaz, in a meeting today, Thursday, at the headquarters of the Central Bank in the capital, Tripoli, a number of issues of common interest between the two sides.

During the meeting, Al-Kabeer discussed with the Turkish ambassador the efforts of the Central Bank of Libya in disclosure and transparency, maintaining the financial and monetary stability of the Libyan state, and supporting efforts in economic development in the country.

The State Audit Bureau headed by Khaled Shakshak was elected today, Wednesday, to the membership of the Executive Council of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions, Arobosai, among four other members, including the membership of the Oversight Committee on Sustainable Development, during the fourteenth session of the General Assembly on the 25-26th of the month October in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The President of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, also held several side meetings with a group of heads of the supreme auditing bodies, to search for ways of joint cooperation in order to enhance the work of the organization, and to activate bilateral programs for cooperation between agencies and the exchange of experiences in various areas of control.

The Minister of Economy and Trade in the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Al-Huwaij, discussed today, Wednesday, the fifth regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Insurance Supervisory Authority, the proposal to unify the register of financial allocations and controls of external transfers of insurance tools, and the comprehensive strategy for the development of the insurance sector in Libya.

Al-Huwaij stressed the development of the performance of the executive management and the strengthening of its role in regulating the insurance sector, following up on companies and their activities, controlling violations, and applying conditions and penalties in accordance with the law.

An official at the Libyan Airlines Company reveals the exchange of ticket prices from Tripoli to Sfax

The Director of the Information Office of the Libyan Airlines Company, Saber Al-Tir, confirmed today, Tuesday, in a statement to our source, that flights will resume from Mitiga International Airport to the city of Sfax, back and forth, with two flights per week.

Al-Tir explained that the prices of tickets from the city of Tripoli to the city of Sfax are at the price of 766 for the economy class, round trip, and for the medium class, at the price of 674 for the back and forth flights.

Dbeibeh signs two military agreements with the Turkish Defense Minister to raise the efficiency of military aviation capabilities in Libya

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, signed today, Tuesday, two military agreements with Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar for cooperation between the two countries, raising the efficiency of military aviation capabilities in Libya with the help of Turkish expertise, and signing executive protocols for the security agreement signed by the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord, in 2019.

The two parties held talks at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense in Istanbul, to discuss aspects of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, and included from the Libyan side the Prime Minister and Chief of General Staff, and from the Turkish side, the Turkish Minister of Defense, the Turkish Chief of General Staff, as well as a number of officers and officials in the two armies.
