The Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, Mohammed, Khalil Issa, met on Tuesday with the Turkish Ambassador to Tripoli Kenan Yilmaz.
For his part, Issa called on companies from Turkey to return to Libya to play a role in rebuilding the country.
Libya’s House of Representatives (HoR) continued on Tuesday its consultations on the draft law for the 2021 general state budget.
The HoR Official Spokesperson Abdullah Belheeg said in a press statement that it was decided to invite all MP to a session next Monday to decide on the budget bill.
Bliheg pointed out that the committee for planning, public budget and finance held a meeting with the ministerial committee formed by the Prime Minister to amend the budget bill in accordance with the observations of the House of Representatives, and decided to submit its final report next Monday.
The head of the Libyan Business Council (LBC), Abdullah Fellah, held a meeting on Monday with the Algerian Ambassador, Kamal Hejazi.

The House of Representatives (HoR) suspended on Monday the session of approving 2021 budget in the presence of the GNU’s Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Dbaiba.
During the session, Dbaiba said that his government was ready to receive any committee set up by the House of Representatives to monitor expenses, adding:” We will work to present a draft unified salary table before the end of this year.
“We need to work as one party, together, and we ask you to appreciate this because we receive people in need every day, and there are those who do not have a homes, the population is suffering,” he said.
The HoR said it would be resume the session on Tuesday, according to first deputy speaker Fawzi Al-Nuwairi.
The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdel Hamid Dbaiba, inspected on Sunday the installation of gas turbine units at the Tobruk power station.
Dabaiba was briefed on the latest developments and progress of the project, which is supposed to provide about 640 Megawatts.
