Projects outcame from the meeting of Al-Qatrani with the Italian Ambassador

The Prime Deputy of the National Unity Government Prime Minister of, Hussein Al-Qatrani, met today, the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting dealt with discussing bilateral relations, as well as ways of cooperation in various fields between the two countries, especially with regard to projects for the reconstruction of areas devastated by the war and expediting the opening of the consulate in Benghazi and activating commercial maritime traffic lines.

Our source reveals : A liquidity shipment of 86 million dollars was sent to Kufra and Gharyan

The liquidity team of the Central Bank of Libya confirmed today, in a statement to our channel  « Tabadul TV », the arrival of a liquidity shipment to the city of Kufra, with the value of 86 million dinars.

The team added that 6 million was allocated to the North Africa Bank, 10 million to the Jumhouria Bank, and 10 million to Wahda Bank.

While the Central Bank’s liquidity team revealed that the branches of the Jumhouria Bank in Nafusa Mountains had received a liquidity shipment of 60 million dinars from the Gharyan issuance department in the Central Bank of Libya, and the bank branches will start, on next Sunday, distributing liquidity on a regular basis and raising the withdrawal ceiling.

Industry and Minerals Ministry includes 2000 industrial projects in its plan for this year

The Deputy for Production and Industrial Zones Affairs of the Industry and Minerals Ministry, Mustafa Al-Sammo,held a meeting with departments directors and advisors in the Cabinet and the Chairman of the Directors Board of the National Industry Promotion Authority.

They discussed during this meeting, the projects, programs and plans that will be included in the ministry’s plan for 2022, including the program to establish 2000 industrial projects of small, medium and micro enterprises covering the food industries, building materials, metallurgical and chemical industries, and others.

This plan aims to contribute to creating spatial development that includes all parts of Libya and works to create job opportunities for youth and provide the local market needs of various goods and products.

The National Unity Government denies meeting of Dbeibeh with the head of the Mossad

The Israeli media confirmed yesteday, on Wednesday, that the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, met with the head of the Israeli Mossad, David Barnea.

It added that Dbeibeh discussed, during his secret meeting with the Mossad head which was held according to sources in Jordan, security cooperation and the normalization of relations between Libya and Israel.

From his part, the official spokesman for the National Unity Government, Mohammed Hammouda, denied the news about Dbeibeh’s meeting with Israeli officials in the Kingdom of Jordan, stressing that it was completely false news.

Al-Qatrani stresses the improvement of the services level in the Oil Crescent Areas

The Prime Deputy of the Prime Minister Hussein Al-Qatrani met yesterday, on Wednesday, at his residence in Tripoli, a number of notables and elders of the Oil Crescent regions.

During this meeting, the notables reviewed all the problems facing the region, calling on the government to take the necessary procedures to solve them, especially that these areas contain major oil export ports and refineries.

From his part, Al-Qatrani stressed that the necessary measures will be taken to improve the services level for all areas of the Oil Crescent.

Economy and Trade Ministry sent a correspondence about stopping access powers and interfaces

The General Director of the Centres of Information and Economic Documentation “Hussein Al-Lamoushi” sent a letter to a number of authorities, including: The Attorney General’s Office, the Administrative Control Authority, the Anti-Corruption Commission, the Office Director of the Central Bank of Libya, the Head of the customs department, the Head of the Civil Status Authority, the  President of the Academy of the Arabic Language, Director of the Information and Documentation Center at the Ministry of Justice, the General Director of the Center, Documentation and Information at the Ministry of Interior, the General Director of the Center, Documentation and Information at the Ministry of Labor and the General Director of the Center, Documentation and Information at the Ministry of Finance.

Where the correspondence stipulated that the access powers and interfaces will be stopped today, Wednesday night, with reference to the cancellation of the decision of the Economy Minister to adopt the unified automated registration number.

Libyan Islamic Bank confirms obtaining the marriage grant in cash

The Libyan Islamic Bank announced to clients who are about to get married and who have obtained the cheques of marriage grant that they can now obtain the grant in cash and without having a current account, by going to one of their branches.

According to the bank, the husband and his wife must attend personally, with the need to bring their identity statements, and after submitting the cheque at the specified branch, they have to go back to the bank within three days to receive the value.

Algeria reopens its consulate in Tripoli after eight years of closure

Algeria has reopened its consulate in the capital, Tripoli, after eight years of closing it.

Suleiman Shanine, the Algeria’s ambassador to Libya, and the General Consul Issa Romani supervised the reopening of the consulate, in the presence of representatives of the Algerian community residing in Libya.

The Minister of Industry and his deputy discuss the procedures of determining the 2022 budget

The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ahmed Abu Hessa, met on Tuesday, his Deputy for Production and Industrial Zones Affairs, Mustafa Al-Sammo, to prepare for the new fiscal year and the budget of 2022.

The meeting also dealt with a number of procedures that should be taken urgently to determine the developmental budget that belongs to the Ministry of Industry and Minerals.

The Administrative Control Authority asks Dbeibeh to stop selling the share of Hess Corporation share to Total Energies

The Administrative Control Authority, stressed in its letter to the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, the need to stop any procedures related to the completion of the sale of the French Total Energies stake until the authority finishes following up and fully evaluating this file.

The authority explained that it had followed up and evaluated the file of the American Hess Holdings waiving its right of the Waha Oil Company concession contracts, amounting to 8.1667%, estimated at 300 million, in favor of Total Energies and ConocoPhillips Company, according to memorandums and correspondence submitted by the Ministry of Oil and Gas. It concluded that many of the the technical, financial and legal observations characterized the procedures for approving the sale of the stake, and resulted in the Cabinet Decree N° 552 of 2021. The last was also observed by the authority, which emphasized in its recommendations the necessity of acquiring the stake for the benefit of the Libyan state because of the investment returns it represents.

It pointed out that, with consideration of this dispute between the Ministry of Oil and the Council of Ministers about whether or not to sell the aforementioned share in favor of Total Energies, and because of the serious damages that may result from selling tise stake that might affect the capabilities and interests of Libyan people, the Authority addressed the Council of Ministers to stop selling the company’s share.
