Our source : A cash shipment of 25 million dinars to North Africa Bank branches of the southern region

The liquidity team of the Central Bank of Libya confirmed today, Tuesday, to our source, that the Sabha issuance department had received a shipment of liquidity for the branches of the North Africa Bank in the southern region, with a value of 25 million.

The team reported that 5 million dinars were allocated to North Africa Al-Shatii branch, 5 million dinars to Sabha branch, 4 million dinars to Al-Bawanis branch, 4 million dinars to Murzuq branch, 4 million dinars to Wikalat Al-jadid branch, and 3 million dinars to Qatrun branch.

The Public Prosecutor meets with the Accounting office to discuss the results of control reports on the health sector

The Undersecretary of the Accounting Office, Alaa El-Din Al-Masallati, met with the Public Prosecutor, Al-Siddiq Al-Sour, in the presence of the directors of the departments and specialized offices and members of the Public Prosecution Office.

The meeting, which was held at the Public Prosecutor’s Office, on Monday, dealt with the results of the Accounting Office’s reports of the various types of control conducted on the health sector, especially with regard to performance control.

The meeting also discussed the findings of the Office with regard to verifying the financial irregularities that were monitored in the treatment file locally and abroad, the Corona pandemic file, and the implementation of the development budget allocated to the health sector, in addition to adhering to the regulation of administrative contracts in sector contracts and adherence to the standards of contracting tools, as well as the actions taken in this regard.

For his part, Al-Masallati explained that the Accounting Office pays great attention to the files of the health sector, and that the follow-up in this area is continuous, stressing that most of the files in which the collection of evidences is integrated will be immediately referred to the competent authorities to complete their legal procedures in this regard.

The Public Prosecutor also stressed the importance of the Accounting Office’s reports for their authenticity and strength during the investigation, stating that the results of the Office’s reports have often become the focus of investigations aimed at determining criminal responsibility.

Dbeibeh discusses with Al-Zanati the problems of the health sector in the country

The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, discussed during his meeting with the Minister of Health Ali Al-Zanati the ways to take advantage of the potentials that exist in the health sector, which have not yet been utilized in serving the citizen.

Dbeibeh said that the sector suffers from problems extending over the past years, which requires a serious pause by its workers to achieve the necessary services for citizens, at the very least.
He added that the meeting will deal with how to take advantage of the capabilities that exist in the health sector, which have not yet been utilized in order to serve the citizen.

This meeting comes within the plans of the National Unity Government to improve the health sector and find solutions to the problems faced by the sector to provide the best services.

A comprehensive development plan urged by Sanalla to ensure the continuity of production in Zallaf Company

The General Association of the Zallaf Libya Oil & Gas company held a meeting on Monday, at the Corporation’s headquarter in Tripoli, for exploration and production of oil and gas, headed by the Chairman of the Corporation’s Directors Board, Mustafa Sanalla, with the presence of its members, Abu al-Qasim Shanqeer, Muhammad Al-Ammari and Jadallah Al-Awkali, the head of the management committee of Zallaf company, Hussein Abu Siliana, and its members, Ramadan Abboud, Habib Al-Barkouli and Abdul Hafeez Abu Ein, the general managers, directors of departments, specialists from the institution and the company and the president of the company’s supervisory board and its members.

The engineer Mustafa Sanalla confirmed in his speech at the beginning of the meeting, that supplying the Ubari power station with gas instead of crude oil will increase the efficiency of the station and contribute significantly to reducing carbon emissions and allow saving at least 14 thousand barrels of crude oil per day. It can be marketed internationally to enhance our country’s ability to export and increase national revenues.

Sanalla also praised the efforts of all employees of Zallaf company who are working on preparing the Erawin field, which is expected to be put on production in November 2022. He stated that the management of the corporation received the initial report transferred from the Zallaf company related to the development of the Atshan field, after completing the geological study of the field and its neighboring prospects, which aimed to assess gas and oil reserves and estimate future production rates, in addition to estimating costs associated with development and production operations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the president and members of the general association expressed their thanks to the company’s committee and its all the managers and employees, and commended the offer made by the company’s management, and urged it to communicate with the relevant departments of the institution, and put them in the form of the existing works and inform them of all the problems, if any, so that they can work on remove it at the time.

Our Source: Two cash shipments of 70 million dinars sent to the central region

The liquidity team of the Central Bank of Libya confirmed, on Monday, to the our source, that the Central Bank had delivered a shipment of cash to Al-Wahda Bank in Misurata, estimated at 10 million dinars.

The liquidity team stated that Al-Wahda Bank will provide the branches of the central region with their liquidity needs, as 5 million were allocated to the Misurata branch, 2 million to the Msallata branch and 3 million to the Alaluas branch.

While the team also revealed that a cash shipment was sent today to the issuance department in Sabha city, with a value of 60 million, in order to support the balances of commercial bank treasuries and provide liquidity, stressing that additional shipments will continue to be transferred to the rest of the regions this week.

The decision of the General Assembly of Afriqiyah Airways stipulated the re-appointment of the company’s board of directors headed by “Ahmed Al-Turki”, and “Mohamed Aqoub” as Vice President, and the membership of “Mohammed Abu Azum”, “Ammar Al-Akari”, “Ismail Rashid”, “Bassem Al-Ajili” and “Mohammed Abu Al-Qasim Ahmed”.

The Civil Status Authority head clarifies about fraud cases in the Civil Registry

The head of the Civil Registry Authority, Mohamed Bettamer explained during the session of the Libyan Assembly of Representatives today, Monday, the cases of fraud in the civil status registry, saying: « Until this moment, we have not received any official letter related to the existence of cases of fraud, except the news in the media, where the authority has carried out some studies and indicators from its offices, and through it, the existence of this number of cases of fraus was denied ».

He added: « We do not deny some individual cases, which are constantly referred to the judicial authorities. With regard to the comprehensive review, we presented a project called “Start” and assigned a value to it and it was approved by the government. It will be initiated in the coming days, which is the complete comprehensive matching between the paper and the one in the system ».

Al-Busifi to our source : « The wives grant will be disbursed this year, and there’s no delay concerning the children’s »

The director of the wives and children grant project, Ali Al-Busifi said on Saturday, in an exclusive statement to our source, that there is no delay in the payment of the children’s allowance, and that the situation is normal.

In his statement, Al-Bousifi indicated that the allowance of children under the age of eighteen for three months (October, November, December) will be disbursed during the next period if all the beneficiaries’ procedures from the Civil Status Authority are ready.

Al-Busifi considered that the procedures for disbursing the grant caused its delay, which is represented by its reliance on changes that occur in the family and social conditions of Libyan families in the Interior Ministry represented by the Civil Status Department, including births, deaths, marriages, divorces, and being over the specified age for the disbursement of the grant, which requires a period of time not less than 25 days of the following month to ensure the completion of family variable statements in the Civil Status Authority for the targeted period, as well as the completion of bank statements for citizens in cooperation with the banking sector through the electronic platform prepared for this purpose, pointing out that the value allocated to the children’s grant is in the ministry’s account.
Al-Busifi, in his statement, revealed that the ministry is working hard in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor to disburse the wives grant as soon as possible, stressing that i twill be this year after completing all its procedures.

He added about whether all the procedures for the wives grant have been met, will it be disbursed from January 2021 until this year, that a report will be submitted on the estimated value of the past year and referred to the government for approval, and the ministry will not delay in disbursing it if approved.

Al-Busifi denied all the news on social media that the Ministry of Social Affairs did not spend the grant of children, pointing out not to be drawn into rumors and to investigate accuracy.

National Oil Corporatin delayed the payment of financial benefits by foreign companies and violated the law

The Oil and Gas Ministry of the National Unity Government confirmed in a statement on Sunday, that its efforts contributed to depositing an amount of 10 billion and 600 million dinars to the state accounts that were owed by foreign companies, and the National Oil Corporation delayed its payment in violation of the law.

The ministry said in its statement that it had followed up the Libyan state’s financial entitlements of foreign oil companies, which are in the form of taxes, rents and fees, and found out that the National Oil Corporation had taken measures that violated the law and asked these companies to postpone the process of paying the Libyan state’s fees since October of the year 2020, which made the Libyan people deprived of benefiting from this money.

It added that It addressed all the concerned authorities to notify it of this violation, stressing that it represents gross negligence and complicity in the preservation and maintenance of public money and damage to the state’s economy. The security and supervisory authorities and the Public Prosecutor began their investigations and took the necessary procedures, as a result of which these funds reached the Libyan state treasuries.

In its statement, the ministry indicated that foreign companies did not adhere to the correct law and sided with the implementation of instructions issued to them by the National Oil Corporation to postpone payment in violation of the law, and called on all foreign investors in the Libyan oil sector to support compliance with any procedures or measures that violate the law in a way that harms the interests of the Libyan state in order to avoid to legal accountability.

At the conclusion of its statement, the Oil and Gas Ministry stressed that it will continue its work in « exposing all acts of corruption and fighting its supporters, and tracking those responsible for these violations and misleading public opinion, after the criminal acts committed against the wealth of the Libyan people were revealed until who did them appear before the judiciary ».

Mohamed al-Menfi and the Saddek Al-Kabeer discuss developments in the unification of the Central Bank of Libya

The Presidential Assembly Head, Mohamed Al-Menfi discussed during his meeting on Sunday, with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Saddek Al-Kabeer the latest developments in the unification of the monetary authority in Libya.

Al-Kabeer revealed to the President of the Presidential Council on the plan to unify the Central Bank and the necessary procedures and time frame for this. Therefore, the Al-Menfi stressed the importance and necessity of the unity and independence of the country’s sovereign institutions, primarily the Central Bank of Libya.
