The Ministry of Health is preparing to launch its first electronic project

The Minister of Health in charge of the Government of National Unity, Ramadan Abu Janah, met today, Tuesday, June 7, with the head of the General Information Authority, in the presence of the Director of the Human Resources Department at the Ministry of Health, and representatives of the implementing companies of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply Organization, to discuss the final preparations to launch the system and start work with it.

Abu Janah praised the role played by the General Information Authority, to reach the final stage of implementing the project, which is the first electronic project launched by the Ministry of Health, whose launch will be announced next week.

A meeting to discuss the draft budget submitted by Bashagha government, and to discuss the unified law for the salaries of state employees

Today, Tuesday, the Parliament Spokesman Abdullah Blehaq revealed the meeting of the committee formed by the Speaker of Parliament, to discuss in detail all the observations contained in the reports of the regulatory bodies and the Central Bank of Libya on the draft law of the state’s general budget for the year 2022, submitted by the Libyan government in order to prepare a law project to be presented to Parliament in the coming days.

The meeting also discussed the unified law for the salaries of state employees to improve the citizen’s income level and achieve social justice among all segments of society.

The USAID presented workshops with the Central Bank to improve the monetary plan for the year 2022, enhance economic stability, and reduce inflationary pressures

Today, Monday, the US Embassy in Libya revealed in a post on its official Facebook page that the United States Agency for International Development had joined last March workshops with the Central Bank of Libya to help improve the annual monetary plan for 2022.

The embassy added that this plan will help the Central Bank implement a monetary policy framework that focuses on enhancing economic stability and reducing inflationary pressures.

It noted that the USAID has started 30 training sessions for central bank staff – including inspectors, evaluators, economists, and anti-money laundering experts – on banking supervision and risk management by working with the central bank to restore confidence in the Libyan banking system.

The General Electricity Company announces the theft of electrical wires 750 meters away in the Industrial District Distribution Department

The General Electricity Company announced the continuation of the phenomenon of electrical wire theft in a number of areas by outlaw groups, and it increases the suffering of citizens as a result of power cuts and personal benefit.

The company added that the Industrial District Distribution Department, Abu Janah line, was attacked for the second time in a row, as well as the theft of low-voltage wires at a distance of 750 meters, which led to a power outage in a number of homes.

Higher Education Ministry: “The Indian government intends to provide more than 3000 scholarships”

The Ministry of Higher Education in the National Unity Government announced the statement of the Libyan Embassy in India that the Indian government intends to provide more than 3000 scholarships in more than 26 academic fields and that these scholarships are funded by the Indian government.

This includes undergraduate, master’s and doctoral studies, and all the concerned studies will be in the recognized central universities.

North Africa Bank announces the imminent introduction of the Islamic banking system

The North Africa Bank announced that it will upgrade the banking system Flexcube to the modern version 12.4, to enable the work of the Islamic banking system and provide services that comply with Islamic law.

The bank clarified that the date of stopping the work of the current system and the duration of the suspension will be announced upon completion of the installation of the modern system 12.4 ORACLE FLEX CUBE.

It also noted the necessity of subscribing to “MobiNab” services so that the customer can obtain his new account number or go to the branch after completing the update procedure on the system.

Shakshak meets with the directors of the technical departments of the Audit Bureau and issues several decisions

Today, Monday, the President of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, held the technical meeting of the senior management, in the presence of the undersecretary of the State Audit Bureau, directors of technical departments, offices and consultants.

The meeting was devoted to presenting the results of the working visit to the Dutch Court of Accounts, reviewing the executive position on the Bureau’s annual general report, in addition to discussing strengthening effective communication mechanisms internally at the Bureau and externally with relevant parties.

The discussion concluded with the adoption of several decisions, the most important of which is the adoption of the results of the visit to the Dutch Court of Accounts, the designation of a director of the cooperation project file, and the necessity of preparing a visual presentation that will be broadcast through the pages of the Bureau to circulate the results and outputs of the meeting, in addition to holding a specialized sub-meeting to agree on a clear mechanism for publishing sectoral reports and performance monitoring reports.

The implementation of the quality control mission was also approved in accordance with the approved standards in particular, and the emphasis was placed on holding periodic technical meetings on Monday morning of each week in a reciprocal manner so that a general technical meeting is allocated to all departments in the first week and a specialized meeting in the following week to discuss a specific topic by the Presidency of the Bureau or at the request of the relevant authority.

Dbeibeh and the Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority discuss the treatment file inside and outside the country

Today, Monday, Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh met with the Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Suleiman Al-Shanti, the Undersecretary of the Administrative Control Authority, Khaled Daou, the Chairman of the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives, Omar Tantoush, and a number of technical departments in the Administrative Control Authority.

The meeting was devoted to following up on a number of service files, according to the report prepared by the authority, where Al-Shanti stressed in his speech during the meeting the need to hold periodic follow-up meetings to address files that the authority follows up and has observations on, and the focus will be on the treatment file inside and outside the country, and to work to take serious steps about this file, according to the observations of the Administrative Control Authority. Adding to that the need to follow up the work of the committee formed by the Council of Ministers regarding reviewing treatment debts abroad for previous years, and the need to issue instructions regarding them, and to transmit their reports periodically and clearly, stressing the need to settle treatment inside in a number of specialties and to provide the necessary environment for successful settlement.

For his part, Dbeibeh stressed during the meeting, the steps taken by the government regarding this file, explaining that the latter suffers from very old problems and needs intensification by everyone until its situation is corrected.

It was also agreed to hold an expanded meeting in the presence of the Ministry of Health and the Audit Bureau, as well as to develop a joint plan to organize this file.

The opening of “Made in Algeria” exhibition

The exhibition “Made in Algeria” opened today in the capital, Tripoli, with the participation of 63 Algerian companies representing various industrial fields such as foodstuffs, cosmetics and construction, and it will continue to be organized until the 9th of this month.

This exhibition is organized by a number of companies such as the company of Al-Nakhla Al-Modiaa and Algeria’s Vistavka and sponsored by Soficlef.

The Public Prosecution orders the imprisonment of 3 members of the urea fertilizer distribution committee for corruption crimes

The Public Prosecution instructed today, Sunday, the detention of three members of the committee in charge of distributing urea fertilizer in the municipality of Intilat Al-Baydan, pending investigations.

The Public Prosecution indicated that the imprisonment of the members was serious for committing corruption crimes, which consisted of forging documents, misusing authority and the function assigned to them and realizing illegal benefits resulting from their receipt of quantities of urea fertilizer destined for the agricultural sector in the municipality in addition to their disposition of those quantities based on the authors’ personal data.
