The Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed Aoun, participated in the 29th meeting of the Council of Ministers of OPEC and non-OPEC countries via zoom.
The agenda was discussed, including the report of the Ministerial Monitoring Committee at its 41st meeting, which clarified the countries’ adherence to the specified quotas.
At the meeting, it was decided to submit production adjustments for the month of September and distribute them equally to the months of July and August, so that the adjustment for the month of July would rise to 648,000 barrels per day, distributed among the countries that contributed to the reduction.
The State of Libya is still excluded from the quotas set for the next monthly meeting on Thursday, 30 June 2022.
