Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya’s Government of National Accord (GNA) Fayez al-Sarraj held bilateral meetings with the ambassadors of Italy, European Union and Algeria to Libya.
According to Cabinet’s Information and Communication Office, al-Sarraj discussed bilateral relations and the latest developments in Libya with Italian Ambassador Giuseppe Puccini, EU Ambassador José Antonio Sabadell and Algerian Ambassador Abdelkader Hijazi.
He discussed with the Italian ambassador the three tracks for the resolution of the Libyan crisis including “security, economic and political”, as per Berlin Conference conclusions.
In this context, the two sides agreed on the utmost importance of resuming the production and export of oil in all fields and ports, as well as ensuring no blockades will be imposed once again on the sites of output and export.
Also during his meeting with the Algerian diplomat, al-Sarraj stressed the importance of developing joint cooperation to include multiple vital areas.
