Al-Kabeer follows the results of consultations with the International Monetary Fund, and prioritizes diversifying sources of income to ensure the financial sustainability of the country

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Seddiq Al-Kabeer, met with the French Ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihrage, and the Economic Advisor to the Embassy, Ivan Potier, to discuss the results of consultations with the International Monetary Fund and the importance of supporting the efforts of the Government of National Unity and the National Oil Corporation to increase oil production and exports. They also gave priority to diversifying sources of income to ensure the financial sustainability of the country and drive the economy.

During this meeting, viewpoints were exchanged on many topics, including the path to unifying the central bank. Ambassador Mihrage also welcomed the French side’s offer to provide expertise in the field of digitization and training to develop the capacities of the banks.
