Al-Huwaij is following up the procedures for implementing the decision to control the fuel distribution mechanism, especially in the southern regions

The Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohammed Al-Huwaij, met today, Wednesday, to follow up the procedures for implementing a decision regarding the control of the fuel distribution mechanism, especially in the southern regions, with the head of the Municipal Guard, Rajab Qatusa, the head of the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Privatization Affairs, Jamal Al-Lamoushi, the director of the internal trade department in the ministry, Mustafa Ben Gdara, the Director of Operations Department at Brega Petroleum Marketing Company, Ibrahim Abu Breda’a,  and the President of the Bakers Syndicate, Mahmoud Al-Araibi.

Al-Huwaij stressed the need for the distribution mechanism to conform to the specifications approved by Brega Petroleum Marketing Company, as well as the possibility of allocating special stations to supply bakeries with fuel in the south, stressing that vehicles for transporting fuel should be equipped with a tracking device (GPS) and a meter that shows the quantity of liters carried by truck and obliging owners of fuel distribution stations to e-mail addresses.
