The Head of the Control Authority in Al-Bayda, Abdul Salam Al-Hassi, revealed that the closure of the Libyan airspace between Benghazi and Tripoli by a decision of the Presidency of the National Unity Government greatly affected the movement of citizens between the east and west of the country and disrupted life and all that the citizen needs.
He continued : « Including the financial liquidity, as during the last period the Central Bank of Tripoli developed a plan to provide the banks located in the Cyrenaica region with financial shipments to ease the burden of the lack of liquidity on the citizen in the region. In front of the air traffic linking the province of Cyrenaica and Tripoli, the deficit and the shortage in the availability of liquidity returned in many banks that closed their doors to their customers. »
He added : « The Prime Minister must quickly lift this stifling belt on the citizens’ necks, not to mention cutting off the system and clearing the banks in the region from the year 2014. All of this increases the difficulties of life for the citizens of the region, especially as we come to the month of Ramadan and the salaries of the employees reach their accounts in the banks. »
