The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation of the Government of National Unity Ali Al-Abed held a closed-circuit meeting with the director of the office of the Ministry’s office in the eastern region and directors of departments and offices, in the presence of the Secretary of the Bureau’s affairs in the ministry, Adel Abdul Salam, in order to discuss the progress of work in the Bureau and labor offices in the eastern region.
The meeting reviewed the training courses currently being held in the city of Al-Bayda, which are part of the 2022 training calendar, which was launched within the framework of the return to life plan to develop the capabilities of job seekers and graduates in specialized fields needed by the labor market.
The mechanisms of regulating the labor market and activating labor inspection were also discussed. In conclusion, Al-Abed stressed the importance of providing services to citizens and continuing training. On the occasion of the International Day for Occupational Health and Safety, he recommended the importance of applying health and safety standards in the work environment to ensure the safety of workers in the public and private sectors.
