The Counselor, Attorney General, Seddiq Al-Sour, discussed, during his meeting on Sunday with the commander of the military zone on the western coast, ways to enhance cooperation aimed at completing procedures for collecting evidence related to the gross violations of the rights of some citizens of the city of Zawiya, and prosecute the perpetrators.

At the conclusion of the meeting, which witnessed the presence of some leaders of the components of the Ministries of Interior and Defense, the Attorney General decided to establish a security force that would implement the measures of the investigating authority, with the aim of fulfilling the duty of redressing the victims of crimes; enforcing the law in the face of perpetrators of crimes who are absent from the procedures, by observing a practical plan whose procedures are taken according to a timetable that is subject to the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
