Central Bank: “Total revenue for the first four months of this year reached 31.9 billion dinars”
Today, Monday, the Central Bank of Libya revealed a statement of revenue and expenditure for the period from January 1st to April 30th, 2023. The total revenue reached 31 billion dinars, while total expenditure amounted to 24.9 billion dinars, of which the salaries section reached 18.3 billion dinars and the fourth support section amounted to 4 billion dinars.
The Central Bank explained in its statement that the total expenditure for the Council of Ministers and its affiliated entities reached 636 million and 861 thousand dinars, while the total expenditure for the House of Representatives and its affiliated entities amounted to 374 million and 618 thousand dinars.
It also added in its statement that the total expenditure for the Ministry of Finance reached 8 billion and 424 million dinars, while the total expenses for the Presidential Council amounted to 204 million dinars. In addition, the expenditure for the General Authority for Endowments reached 73 million and 381 thousand dinars.
The Central Bank also revealed that the total expenditure for the High Council of State reached 13 million and 778 thousand dinars, while the total expenses for the General Electricity Company amounted to 1 billion and 143 million dinars.
