Shakshak stresses the need to adhere to non-expansion of spending

Today, Thursday, the head of the State Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, issued a circular regarding the controls for preparing and referring the final account to the state, stressing the application of financial laws and regulations related to the unit under control and review, as the Bureau is keen to implement the law and adhere to submitting the final accounts on the legally specified date.

Shakshak explained that the Bureau warns all entities responsible for implementing the state’s general budget and government spending entrusted with submitting its financial data and reports to the Ministry of Finance, of the need to refer them on the specified dates.

The Head of the Bureau stressed the necessity of committing not to expanding spending during the last month of the current year, with the intention of depleting the remaining balances of the appropriations listed in each item and limiting the expenditure to what is necessary, in addition to not exceeding the approved appropriations and not linking and contracting except within the limits of those appropriations, as well as adhering to not Disbursing any sums of money after the closing date of the books and accounts at the end of the year, and not recording transactions on previous dates.
