Today, Saturday, the Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation of the Government of National Unity, Ali Al-Abed, participated in the closing events of the Huawei Information Technology Academy, in the presence of the Chargé d’Affairs of the People’s Republic of China to Libya, Wang Qimin, and the sub-regional director of Huawei’s businesses in Libya and Tunisia.

Al-Abed stressed the importance of activating the memorandum of understanding signed last February between the Academy and the Human Resources Development Fund to train and qualify job seekers in ICT-related disciplines and provide them with the necessary training, stressing the strategic partnership in general in the field of Information and communications technology.

For his part, Wang Qimin added that there should be continuous commitment to developing ICT talents in Libya, and encouraged more fruitful cooperation between Libya and China in the fields of technologies and high talents to raise the bilateral relationship to a higher level.
