The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, received the Italian ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, in the presence of the economic advisor at the Italian Embassy in Tripoli, stressing the importance of agreeing to unify the international position towards the existence of a clear road map, which includes the implementation of elections as the only way to maintain the country’s stability and unity.

Dbeibeh pointed to the necessity of issuing the constitutional rule, and finding popular legitimacy for it in order to build the electoral process on a sound basis, stressing the importance of the Libyan-Italian economic partnership.
