On Wednesday, the Minister of Economy, Mohamed Al-Huwaij, met with the head of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mohamed Al-Raed, and representatives of construction companies to discuss the problems and difficulties facing company owners regarding tax payment, banking procedures and local documentary credits, as well as recruitment of workers, ways to address them, and proposed solutions.

Al-Huwaij stressed the need to prepare a plan to complete the stalled housing projects, and to review and renew contracts, in a way that would move the wheel of the local economy and the public interest.
