Bashagha: “We blame ourselves for entering Tripoli, and I have no plans to rule from the capital. We will work from the headquarters of the Libyan government in the city of Sirte”

The Prime Minister of the Libyan government, Fathi Bashagha, said that he does not have any immediate plans to rule from the capital, Tripoli, indicating that his government will operate from its headquarters in the city of Sirte.

Bashagha added, in statements to the American “Associated Press” that he entered Tripoli last week in a civilian car and that his escorts were unarmed, and continued: “We blame ourselves for entering the city, although I said that we will not enter the capital unless the conditions are 100 percent favorable.”
