The Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Salama Al-Ghwil, held a meeting Today, Tuesday, with the Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed Aoun, at the Cabinet Office.
The two parties discussed a number of files related to the production of oil and gas and ways to develop work in the two sectors because of their important role in revitalizing and stimulating the national economy, especially in light of the high price of a barrel of oil in the global market.
The two sides reviewed the challenges facing the oil sector. They stressed the need to put urgent treatments in place because this sector is of great importance as it is the main source of income for the Libyan state.
In the same context, the two ministers stressed the importance of continuing coordination and supporting efforts between Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Oil and Gas to ensure the advancement of this sector.
