Libya, Algeria to open a direct maritime trade line

The head of the Libyan Business Council (LBC), Abdullah Fellah, held a meeting on Monday with the Algerian Ambassador, Kamal Hejazi.

During the meeting, Fellah and Hejazi discussed organizing a delegation of Algerian business leaders’ visit to Libya in the middle of this month, in addition to discussing economic programme aimed at strengthening cooperation between Libya and Algeria.

The meeting also Sought to open a direct maritime trade line between the two countries.

For his part, the Algerian Ambassador confirmed his country’s readines to open the land border in the Ghadames.

He also confirmed that there are no obstacles preventing their movement and travel after the return of flights between Tunisia and Algeria.
