The Libyan House of Representatives had received a correspondence from Supreme Judiciary Council containing the names of seven candidates for the post of Attorney General.

According to the Supreme Judiciary Council, the seven candidates are; Abdul-Hadi al-Haddad, Fathi Abdul-Salam Saad, Muhammad Abdul-Wahab Salim, al-Siddiq Ahmad al-Sur, Jamal Ali Hadiya, Muhammad Salem al-Hudayri, Ibrahim Ali al-Ajili, and Kamal al-Ajili al-Bahri.
