During a meeting at its Tripoli headquarters yesterday, Libya’s Airports Authority (LAA) discussed the implementation mechanism of the project to establish a passenger terminal at Misrata International Airport.
The meeting, which included the local implementing company, also reviewed the designs, and added amendments in line with recent changes in preparation for its final approval.
the meeting discussed the Tripoli based Libyan government’s Decree No. (660) of 2020 regarding approval to amend the contract concluded by the LAA regarding the expansion and modification of the departure terminal at Misrata International Airport to establish an integrated passenger terminal.
Other measures required to be taken by competent authorities to begin implementation, including the Audit Bureau’s approval of the contract amendment and the provision of the necessary financial coverage, were also discussed.
