The National Center for Disease Control announced that Libya has recorded 205 confirmed cases with the novel coronavirus, in the largest daily count since the virus began to appear in the country.

In a statement, the center added that 17 patients have recovered during the last 24 hours, raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 569.

According to the center, there were 3222 confirmed cases in Libya, while 76 have passed away.
