Massouda Al-Aswad: “The Operating Budget of Educational Institutions for the New Academic Year Amounted to about 85 Million LYD”

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Massouda Al-Aswad, said that the operating budget of educational institutions for the new academic year amounted to about 85 million dinars.

Massouda added that the distribution was according to the number of students in each monitoring, indicating that 80% of the schools had complete data and were ready to spend their budget, and that the schools located in 45 monitoring had bank accounts that had received their checks out of 90 monitoring.

Al-Aswad explained that schools that do not have a bank account will be disbursed to them in trust and the school principal will receive it, pointing out that the disbursement items include four sections, which are light maintenance operations, school activity, general cleanliness, stationery, and the needs determined by the controller with the school principal.

She indicated the necessity of closing the custody before the 15th of next December, noting that every manager who does not close the custody will have it closed from his salary.

It is worth noting that the number of schools that received students in their new academic year reached 6,383 schools, while the number of students and students for the basic and secondary education levels reached 2 million, 345 thousand and 668 student.
