Ministry of Health delivers protective supplies to the Libya’s NCDC

In a statement issued yesterday, Libya’s Ministry of Health claimed that it has delivered a shipment of medical personal protective equipment to the National Centre for Disease Control.

According to the ministry, the delivered supplies will be used by the Monitoring and Rapid Response Teams at the National Centre for Disease Control . The shipment comprises of, Nasal Swab testing kits, 1000 pieces of personal protective complete body suits, 1000 pieces of face protection, 1000 pieces of protective goggles and 800 pieces of face masks, type N95, a specialized mask for use by first responders.

According to the statement, some of the equipment will be used for taking nasal swab samples in suspected cases of the ominous Coronairus, particularly for those who have been in contact with, or in close proximity to, confirmed cases of the virus.
