The Medical Committee of the High Council of State (HCS), held a meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Sadiq Al-Kabir, to discuss methods of initiating credits and creating liquidity of cash. The media office of the HCS explained that the meeting also covered the matter of facilitating procedures for the import of essential commodities and medical supplies.

These medical supplies and equipment were said to be essential in combating the Coronavirus pandemic, due to the emergency it posed and fears of sharp price increases with the shortage in availability of these essential materials.
