The Presidency Council Of The Government Of National Accord issued the Resolution No. 270 for the year 2020 in which it gave instructions to reduce state-sector salaries of all employees in general administrative units that are financed from the general budget by 20%, starting from 1^st April.

The statement stated that specific functions -included in the Council’s resolution No. 24 of 2019- were excluded from implementing the provisions of article 1 of this resolution.

It should be noted that the reductions come in the framework of the ongoing oil production and export enforced stoppage.
