In a statement published on its Facebook page, Mellitah Oil and Gas Company announced that they had taken all the recommendations issued by the World Health Organization (WHO), regarding medical precautions and preventive measures to slow down the spread of the coronavirus. Thus, it aims to switch technical and engineering teams operating in offshore platforms, via helicopters and supply vessels starting from Monday.

It indicated that it is also considering transporting those working in the onshore fields via Zuwara Airport and will negotiate the possibility of conducting road trips.
