Dbeibeh stresses his government’s desire to cooperate with France in the field of alternative energy and the need for France’s support for the parliamentary and presidential elections

Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh met today, Tuesday, with Anne Guéguen, Director of Africa and Middle East Affairs at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, and her accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Guéguen confirmed the return of the activity of the French embassy in Tripoli and the presence of its entire mission, stressing the desire to cooperate with the national unity government in the field of energy, health and infrastructure.

For his part, Dbeibeh indicated the government’s desire to cooperate in the fields of alternative energy and benefit from French expertise in this file, stressing the need for France to support the international community’s goal to hold parliamentary and presidential elections to create a state of stability and lasting peace in Libya.
