Ministry of Finance: “Total government spending this year amounted to 88.9 billion dinars”

The Ministry of Finance of the Government of National Unity revealed in its monthly report today, Monday, that the total public expenditure of the government this year until the end of November exceeded 88 billion and 887 million dinars, while the value of revenues amounted to about 93.7 billion dinars, with a surplus of 4.8 billion dinars.

The ministry added that the total state revenues exceeded 93 billion and 728 million dinars, explaining that more than 96% of these revenues came from oil resources, while other sovereign revenues amounted to only 2.5 billion dinars.

As for spending, the ministry stated that the government spent about 88.9 billion dinars until the end of November, of which 41.9 billion was allocated for salaries, 19 billion for subsidies, 19.2 billion for the National Oil Corporation, 8 billion dinars for operating expenses, and about 650 million dinars only for development.
