The US envoy confirms the reopening of the US embassy in Libya

The US Special Envoy to Libya, Richard Norland, stressed during a press conference today, Thursday, that the US embassy is focusing on how to reopen it in Tripoli, where the embassy will have a permanent diplomatic presence in Tripoli, Benghazi and Murzuq, and the army that is from 5 + 5 must be unified, and it is considered an essential part.

Richard explained that the embassy saw several proposals submitted by the Government of National Unity, the House of Representatives and the Presidential Council based on transparency and oversight.

Richard added that the Libyan people have the right to ask him where the money goes and returns to the country, for the huge money that enters the accounts of the Libyan government every day, a basic and constitutional agreement must be reached between the House of Representatives and the High Council of State.
