Al-Busifi to our source : « The wives grant will be disbursed this year, and there’s no delay concerning the children’s »

The director of the wives and children grant project, Ali Al-Busifi said on Saturday, in an exclusive statement to our source, that there is no delay in the payment of the children’s allowance, and that the situation is normal.

In his statement, Al-Bousifi indicated that the allowance of children under the age of eighteen for three months (October, November, December) will be disbursed during the next period if all the beneficiaries’ procedures from the Civil Status Authority are ready.

Al-Busifi considered that the procedures for disbursing the grant caused its delay, which is represented by its reliance on changes that occur in the family and social conditions of Libyan families in the Interior Ministry represented by the Civil Status Department, including births, deaths, marriages, divorces, and being over the specified age for the disbursement of the grant, which requires a period of time not less than 25 days of the following month to ensure the completion of family variable statements in the Civil Status Authority for the targeted period, as well as the completion of bank statements for citizens in cooperation with the banking sector through the electronic platform prepared for this purpose, pointing out that the value allocated to the children’s grant is in the ministry’s account.
Al-Busifi, in his statement, revealed that the ministry is working hard in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor to disburse the wives grant as soon as possible, stressing that i twill be this year after completing all its procedures.

He added about whether all the procedures for the wives grant have been met, will it be disbursed from January 2021 until this year, that a report will be submitted on the estimated value of the past year and referred to the government for approval, and the ministry will not delay in disbursing it if approved.

Al-Busifi denied all the news on social media that the Ministry of Social Affairs did not spend the grant of children, pointing out not to be drawn into rumors and to investigate accuracy.
