{"id":31024,"date":"2020-02-14T09:11:22","date_gmt":"2020-02-14T09:11:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tabadul.demo.ly\/en\/libya-januarys-gas-and-oil-sales-revenue\/"},"modified":"2020-02-14T09:11:22","modified_gmt":"2020-02-14T09:11:22","slug":"libya-januarys-gas-and-oil-sales-revenue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tabadul.tv\/en\/libya-januarys-gas-and-oil-sales-revenue\/","title":{"rendered":"Libya: January&#8217;s gas and oil sales revenue"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In yesterday&#8217;s report concerning gas and oil sales revenue, NOC reported <strong>19%<\/strong> drop in revenues in January 2020 from previous month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National Oil Corporation announced January 2020 revenues of approximately <strong>1.77 billion USD<\/strong> <strong>($1,768,879,320.49)<\/strong>, a decrease of around <strong>418 million USD (19%)<\/strong> on December 2019 revenues, and an increase of around <strong>167 million USD (10.4%)<\/strong> compared with January last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOC\u2019s revenues come from sales of natural gas, crude oil and assorted derivative products, in addition to taxes and royalties received from concession contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOC Chairman Mustafa Sanalla commented: \u201cJanuary\u2019s revenues show a dip from December 2019. However, at nearly <strong>2.2 billion USD<\/strong>, December\u2019s revenues were relatively high. January\u2019s<strong> 1.77 billion USD<\/strong> figure was more in line with November\u2019s of around <strong>1.78 billion USD<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He added: \u201cOn one hand figures in the last few months have reflected a relatively high oil price, with January\u2019s revenues coming from sales in December at an average of 66.48 per barrel. On the other hand, January\u2019s revenues also reflect some loss of production in December, such as when El Feel field had to be closed due to illegal closures of pipelines. We\u2019ll see this to a much greater degree in February\u2019s revenues, which will reflect the blockades that still continue and have forced us to stop production\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>January\u2019s <strong>10.4%<\/strong> gain in revenues from January 2019 reflects a significant increase in the price of oil since last year. January\u2019s reported revenues come from sales made in December. The average OPEC basket crude oil price in December 2019 was<strong> 66.48 USD<\/strong>, up<strong> 9.54 USD<\/strong> from December 2018, when it was <strong>56.94 USD.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tabadul.tv\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/NOC-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18052\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In yesterday&#8217;s report concerning gas and oil sales revenue, NOC reported 19% drop in revenues in January 2020 from previous month.
