«إيريني»: 52 عملية اعتراض نفذها خفر السواحل الليبي

كشف التقرير الأول للمهمة الأوروبية البحرية«إيريني» الصادر الثلاثاء، عن تنفيذ 52 عملية إنقاذ من خلال البحرية وخفر السواحل الليبي، ما يتوافق إلى حد كبير مع النسبة التي لوحظت في العام 2019، مع اختلاف واضح في عدد الأشخاص الذين يستخدمون هذا الطريق أكثر من العام الماضي، موضحا أن سفن مختلفة نفذت 128 عملية إنقاذ أو اعتراض لنحو 9050 مهاجرا خلال الفترة ما بين 1 مارس و31 يوليو 2020، في مناطق جنوب وسط البحر الأبيض المتوسط أغلبها قبالة السواحل الليبية.

وأعلن التقرير أن ما يقرب من نصف «45%» ممن غادروا ليبيا تم إنقاذهم أو اعتراضهم من قبل خفر السواحل الليبي في مناطق البحث والإنقاذ في ليبيا ومالطا، و24% من قبل السلطات الإيطالية، كما تم إنقاذ 7% من قبل القوات المسلحة المالطية، و7% من قبل المنظمات غير الحكومية، و4% بواسطة السفن التجارية، و3% بواسطة قوارب الصيد، مقابل 8% تمكنوا من الوصول إلى إيطاليا بأنفسهم.

وأشار التقرير الأوروبي إلى تضاؤل وزن المنظمات غير الحكومية في عملية الإنقاذ، مقارنة بعامي 2016-2017.
