600 مهاجر قادم من ليبيا ستستقبلهم النرويج

وافقت النرويج على استقبال ما يقرب من 600 مهاجر غير قانوني تم إجلائهم من مراكز الاحتجاز في ليبيا إلى رواندا، وفق تصريح وزير العدل النرويجي جوران كالمير لوكالة رويترز الذي أكد خلاله أن استقبال هذا العدد من المهاجرين سيتم خلال العام الجاري كجزء من 3000 مهاجر التزمت الحكومة باستقبالهم من مراكز العبور والمغادرة التابعة للأمم المتحدة.

واعتبر كالمير أنه من المهم جمع المهاجرين الذين يحتاجون للحماية وتوفيرها لهم في إشارة إلى المهاجرين داخل مراكز العبور التي تديرها الأمم المتحدة في رواندا مشدداً على أهمية عدم إظهار أي دعم للمهربين.

وكانت السويد قد استقبلت 7 مهاجرين ولا زال العشرات في لائحة الانتظار في مراكز العبور في رواندا، ضمن محاولات الاتحاد الأوروبي لإنهاء أزمة الهجرة غير القانونية عبر البحر المتوسط.
