أفاد رئيس لجنة الطوارئ ببلدية الخمس الدكتور علي الحضيري بوفاة حالة مصابة بفيروس كورونا بمستشفى الخمس التعليمي لسيدة من مدينة الخمس، وقال الحضيري إن الحالة تم احضارها الى مجمع العيادات الخاص بالمستشفى من قبل ذويها يوم الخميس الماضي وتم أخذ عينه لها وإرسالها الى المركز الوطني للأمراض وبعد أخذ العينة رجعت الى بيتها.

وأضاف الحضيري أنه نتيجة تدهور حالتها تم ارجعها للمستشفى فدخلت قسم الباطنة بالمستشفى الخميس ليلا حيث توفيت صباح اليوم، مضيفا أن المركز الوطني أبلغهم أن المريضة مصابة بفيروس كورونا ونتيجة تحليلها موجبة.

وأكد الحضيري أنه على اثر بلاغ المركز تم إقفال قسم الباطنة لمدة 48 ساعة من أجل تعقيمه وأخذ الإجراءات الاحترازية من أجل منع انتقال العدوى للفيروس.
