البعثة الأممية تدين اعتقال بعيو وتدعو إلى الإفراج عنه

أعربت بعثة الأمم المتحدة للدعم في ليبيا عن أسفها إزاء الاعتقال غير القانوني لرئيس مؤسسة الإعلام في حكومة الوفاق محمد عمر بعيو، داعية إلى الإفراج الفوري وغير المشروط عنه.

هذا وأفادت البعثة في بيانها، بأن بعيو قد اعتقِل في 20 أكتوبر مع ولديه ورئيسة البرامج المعينة حديثا في قناة ليبيا الوطنية ، هند عمار، مشيرة إلى الإفراج عن ولديه بعد فترة وجيزة من احتجازهما، ينما تم الإفراج عن هند عمار الليلة الماضية.

وأضافت البعثة أن الجولة الأخيرة من الاعتقالات التعسفية تكشف المخاطر الشخصية التي يتعرض لها الصحافيون خلال دفاعهم عن الحق في حرية التعبير في ليبيا.
