ارتفع الذهب اليوم الأربعاء بعد انخفاض حاد في الجلسة السابقة، إذ نالت الشكوك بشأن برنامج تحفيز اقترحه الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب للتخفيف من الأثر الاقتصادي لفيروس كورونا من الإقبال على المخاطرة.

وصعد السعر الفوري للذهب 0.8 بالمائة إلى 1661.40 دولار للأوقية بحلول الساعة 05.48 بتوقيت غرينتش، بعدما نزل نحو اثنين بالمائة أمس الثلاثاء بفعل الآمال في إجراءات تحفيز عالمية.

وزاد الذهب في العقود الأمريكية الآجلة 0.1 بالمائة إلى 1661.80 دولار، حيث تراجعت الأسهم الآسيوية والمؤشرات الآجلة للأسهم الأمريكية مع تنامي الشكوك إزاء حزمة التحفيز من واشنطن مما بدد قوة الدفع التي قادت للصعود في وقت سابق.

وفي المعادن النفيسة الأخرى، نزل البلاديوم 0.8 بالمائة الي 2401.04 دولار للأوقية، بينما ارتفع البلاتين 0.6 بالمائة الي 874.28 دولار. وزادت الفضة واحدا بالمائة إلى 17.02 دولار للأوقية.
